The foundation of Addax began when Josh Peeples and David Gordon discovered their mutual appreciation for Napa Valley's most distinguished vineyards. Their collaboration, strengthened by Gordon's extensive background as wine director at Tribeca Grill and Peeples' entrepreneurial spirit, led them to establish relationships with some of Napa's most prestigious growers. Working closely with renowned winemaker Russell Bevan, they carefully selected exceptional vineyard sites that would become the cornerstone of Addax's portfolio.

The 2019 Addax Cabernet Sauvignon exemplifies the extraordinary character of the vintage, showcasing intense aromas of black currant, dark cherry, and cocoa powder, complemented by subtle notes of graphite and dried herbs. On the palate, the wine reveals layers of rich dark fruit, with perfectly integrated oak and refined tannins that provide exceptional structure and length. This limited-production Cabernet Sauvignon represents both power and elegance, demonstrating the distinctive qualities of its premium Napa Valley vineyard sources.
