Terre Siciliane from Sicily, Italy

Mortellito's Tuttu Rosso offers a vibrant and expressive profile from its 6 varieties. It features bright red fruits like cherry, raspberry, and cranberry, complemented by subtle herbal notes and a slight saline touch. The wine has a fresh, juicy acidity with fine, crunchy tannins, leading to a balanced and satisfying finish.

While most blends we encounter are a mix of 3 to 4 varietals, "Tuttu", all in Italian, gathers almost all varietals available in the region, red and white. The result is surprising yet refreshing and very drinkable wine.

The search of genuine wines

Owner Dario Serrentino has always enjoyed the contrasts of this coastal growing area, which he calls "a desert next to the beach". Over the years, he’s learned to coax extremely elegant wines from this receding coast of limestone, which, he says, is "the magic to produce wines with tension, freshness, and complex salinity". In Dario’s best vintages, his red and white wines have a tapering svelte finish, cool and salt dusted. Drinking them is akin to a dive into the nearby Ionian Sea on a hot summer day.
